What I learned in April : For my shooting game project so far, I'm pretty done my project. only some few section are missing: enemy's health and health bar, ending game menu and room level 3. I've learned a lot of function and event in the past month. such as instance function , speed function, global function, drawing function etc. these function allows me to add more stuff into the game, when I coded some of the function out , it happens to be having bug at the times, so I spent most of the time trying to fix the mistake rather than learning new function. I also spent time on making a good sprites for my game, I learned to make an animation for a character while they move, doing so i have to edit my sprite to makes it to like walking. without a good sprite in a game isn't fun for player. My project is pretty close to finishing up, I just need to add a few more function, sprites and level into the game.

Plan on May: once I'm done my shooting project,which is only a few section left in the game, I'll move on to platform game project, I would use the GML language that I've learn before to create the platform game project, but I will also need tutorial for my platform game still. because platform game and shooting game are a little different.
